At City Hall behind Fire Department. Gate
We are going to attempt a new dumpster plan. This will be on a trial basis, assessing as we go, if it works for our city. One large dumpster will be placed next to the fire dept. fence permanently. City Citizens can drive up to the dumpster any time the gates are open, approximately 7:00 am to 11:00 am Monday - Friday. At the same time, if gates are closed, you should be able to throw bags over the fence into the dujpster with no problem. The city hopes this gives citizens an extended time frome for trash dumping. Remember, this is a trial, we could go back to every other month if needed. Thank you for keeping our city clean.
Our dumpster is working well and our citizens love having it. On some instances, it fills very quickly and the pile grows to where we cannot pack it any more. We have decided to let our trash services pick it up if we get it too full. Then he will bring another by the second week of each month. We plan to have a double dumpster weekend in October, date pending.

SOME Fort Smtih and Cedarville land fill restrictions:
Accepted: Household trash, furnature, appliances/computers, carpet
Not accepted: Haz/Toxic waste/ refrigerant, Car batteries/ eng oil, liquids of any kind that are hazardous, grass, leaves, brush, tires, herbicides, paint, commercial/contractor waste, anitfreeze.
